We are thrilled to announce that AWAKEN – Astral Blade, our action-packed Metroidvania side-scrolling action game, has been released today globally via digital platforms for PlayStation 5 (with a limited time 10% launch discount for PlayStation Plus members) and PC via Steam (with a limited time 10% launch discount) and EGS. A stunning physical Tania’s Edition has also been launched by publishing partner Meridiem across European specialist retailers.
In addition to the standard digital PC release, gamers can also add the Deluxe Edition to their collection. This contains the AWAKEN – Astral Blade base game as well as the following additional digital content: a special Golden Scale Set, the original soundtrack by Alexandria Migova, and a Digital Artbook with concept art and illustrations from the game.
PlayStation 5 fans who purchase the digital version of AWAKEN – Astral Blade will unlock the free, exclusive skin ‘Limitless Set’ with a special cosmetic skin for Tania, the games’ protagonist.
Developed by Dark Pigeon Games, AWAKEN – Astral Blade is part of the third phase of the China Hero Project, Sony Interactive Entertainment Shanghai’s games incubation program that funds and supports Chinese video game developers and received the ‘Best in Play GDC 2024’ award at this years show.
